4月1日，深圳市鲸帆港人子弟学校第7周升旗仪式后，老师和学生就“追思先烈，报效祖国”主题作国旗下演讲。

亲爱的老师，同学们：

大家早上好！

伴随着温暖的春风，我们即将迎来一个非常重要的中国传统节日——清明节。每年的清明节，人们都会祭拜祖先，缅怀祖先，今天我们在国旗下，缅怀那些为祖国和人民抛头颅洒热血的革命先烈。

从秋瑾到邹容，从黄继光到董存瑞，无数英雄用他们的生命谱写了英雄的爱国运动，他们不屈不挠，临危不惧，家国为先，视死如归。是他们的热血身躯和伟大精神，铸就了今天和平安定的生活。

我们缅怀先烈，应传承他们的精神，把爱国、爱民的崇高情怀融入到爱校、爱集体的具体行动中去，从讲诚信做起，从珍爱生命做起，从努力学习做起，从生活中的点滴小事做起，让英雄先烈见证我们的成长。

我们不仅要继承先烈的精神，更应感恩所拥有的一切，珍惜现在，爱国爱民，遵纪守法，勤奋学习，为民族振兴、国家富强而肩负起自己的责任。

“少年智则国智，少年强则国强，少年雄于地球，则国雄于地球。”我们应该努力学习，报效祖国！

Good morning!

With the warm spring breeze, we are about to usher in a very important traditional Chinese festival-Qingming Festival. Every year on Qingming Festival, people worship and remember their ancestors. Today, under the national flag, we remember those revolutionary martyrs who shed their lives and blood for the motherland and the people.

From Qiu Jin to Zou Rong, from Huang Jiguang to Dong Cunrui, countless heroes used their lives to compose the heroic patriotic movement. They were unyielding, fearless in the face of danger, put their home and country first, and regarded death as destination. It is their passionate bodies and great spirits that have created today’s peaceful and stable life.

When we remember the martyrs, we should inherit their spirit and integrate the lofty feelings of patriotism and love for the people into the specific actions of loving the school and loving the collective. We should start from being honest, starting from cherishing life, starting from studying hard, and starting from living. Let’s start with every little thing in life and let the heroes and martyrs witness our growth.

We should not only inherit the spirit of the martyrs, but also be grateful for everything we have, cherish the present, love the country and the people, abide by laws and regulations, study diligently, and shoulder our own responsibilities for the rejuvenation of the nation and the prosperity of the country.

"The ambition of young people will make the country strong, the strong youth will make the country strong, the young people will be strong on the earth, and the country will be strong on the earth." We should study hard to serve our motherland.
