ASJ (Dongguan) was pleased to host the fifth Master Class of the Youth Arts Education Committee of the Guangdong Soong Ching Ling Foundation (GDSCLF) on 21 June. The Master Class this time included a special lecture on "Important Elements of Recitation" and an intangible cultural heritage lecture on "The History and Art of Pith Paper Painting".

2024年6月21日下午，广东省宋庆龄基金会“美育公益课堂”学者讲堂第五讲在东莞暨大港澳子弟学校正式开讲。本次公益课堂的内容分为两大板块：专题讲座《朗诵的几个要素》和非遗讲堂《通草画的历史与艺术》。

This time, ASJ (Dongguan) had the honour of inviting Mr. Fan XU, a veteran actor and director of the Guangzhou Dramatic Arts Centre, who is also a member of the Chinese Dramatists Association and the Guangdong Dramatists Association. With his rich stage experience and profound artistic cultivation, he gave the students a professional lecture on the art of recitation.

本次东莞ASJ有幸邀请到广州话剧艺术中心的资深演员兼导演，同时也是中国戏剧家协会会员以及广东省戏剧家协会理事，徐梵总导演。他以其丰富的舞台经验和深厚的艺术修养，为学生们带来了一场关于朗诵艺术的专业讲座。

Director XU cleverly used the warm-up game before the class to ignite the students' enthusiasm. He then explained the different focuses of the two professional systems of broadcasting and dramatic performance in the art of recitation: the former focuses on in-depth interpretation of words and precise grasp of vocabulary, while the latter focuses on exploring the inner world of characters and refining expression.

徐导演巧妙地利用课前热身小游戏，迅速点燃了学生们的热情。随后深入浅出地介绍了播音主持与戏剧表演两大专业系统在朗诵艺术上的不同侧重点：前者注重对文稿的深度解读与词汇的精准把握，后者则更侧重于对人物内心世界的挖掘和生活化表达的提炼。

During the lecture, Director XU gave a detailed analysis of the essence of recitation and led the students to appreciate the artistic charm of recitation. He not only taught the skills of recitation, but also demonstrated them personally, allowing the students to experience the rhythm and emotion of recitation. This lecture gave the students a deeper understanding of recitation, and made them develop a strong interest in broadcasting and dramatic performance.

在讲座中，徐导演对朗诵的精髓进行了细致入微的剖析，引导学生们领略朗诵艺术的内在魅力。他不仅传授了朗诵技巧，还亲自示范，让学生们在专业的指导下，体验朗诵的韵律与情感。本次讲座不仅让同学们对这两种不同的朗诵类型有了更深入的了解，还促使他们对播音主持和戏剧表演这两种专业产生了浓厚的兴趣。

In this time's intangible cultural heritage lecture, the students had an opportunity to listen to a wonderful lecture by Mr. Kang-ping YAN, the inheritor of the Pith Paper Painting technique and a master student of the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts. Mr. YAN first introduced the students to the profound history and unique artistic style of Pith Paper Painting, which gave them a basic understanding of this traditional art.

本次的非遗讲堂，学生们有幸聆听了通草画绘制技艺传承人、广州美术学院硕士研究生颜康平先生的精彩讲解。颜先生首先向学生们展示了通草画的丰富历史和独特艺术风格，让学生们对这一传统艺术有了初步的认识。

Afterwards, the students further observed the pith paper through an electron microscope, under which they found out that the process of making the pith paper painting had completely preserved the cell structure of the plant. When the artists painted the paper through special techniques, the pigment would be embedded and adhered to the cell cavities and cell walls, giving the painting a texture like embroidery under the sunlight.

随后，同学们通过电子显微镜进一步观察通草纸，在镜头下可以观察到通草纸的制造工艺完整地保留了通草本身的细胞结构。艺术家们通过特殊技法绘制通草画时，颜料会镶嵌、附着到细胞腔和细胞壁上面，因此在阳光下通草画会呈现“宛如堆绣”的质感。

Mr YAN's explanation not only gave the students an intuitive understanding of the production process of Pith Paper Paintings, but also allowed them to observe the unique techniques of this type of art up close and have an in-depth discussion with the artist, thus stimulating their strong interest in traditional art.

颜先生的讲解不仅让学生们对通草画的制作工艺有了直观的了解，更让他们近距离观摩通草画的绘制技法并与艺术家进行深入交流，从而激发他们对传统艺术的浓厚兴趣。
